S T Y L E I N S P I R A T I O N: Sasha Pivovarova

In a recent campaign with Free People, we get a quick inside glimpse of the life and talents of Sasha Pivovarova. Obviously, she's beautiful, but who knew she was so artistic. I really like her embrace of inner as well as outer beauty within herself and other things.
This lady is one of those people that you can't help be inspired by. She is definitely blessed with many things, but she appreciates it and uses is to it's fullest potential.

Vintage on the Streets...

Vintage or vintage inspired looks on the streets...

More vintage street style here.

As a side note, I just wanted to let those who are interested know that I am in the midst of illustrating a children's book for a friend, and the deadline is sooner than expected... this means that Barnaby Jack as well as this blog will have to take a backseat for a bit until the book is done. However, I will still be listing new items so definitely check back in on the shop to see the new stuff.

30 Days

Found these images on a site called Nico and...Magazine. From what I could tell it looked like a Japanese clothing shop and magazine, but I don't speak Japanese so I could be wrong on that one. But I did really like this section they do each month where they created 30 different outfits for each day. It's called "30 Days Coordinate". Some of their creations were really inspiring and I thought I'd relay some of my favorites here.

Check out the other days and the website here.

As a follow up to my last post I thought I'd continue my Jade Castrinos obsession with more her outfit photos. Cool style and an even better smile. Such a cute and lovely person.

S T R E E T S M A R T : Fisherman Sweaters

Fisherman sweaters (also known as the Aran Sweater, or Irish Sweater) have always been a favorite of mine. Their quality, chunkiness and warmth factor can't be beat for the winter months. I've put several on the shop this past October, and not surprisingly, they have all sold. Luckily, I came across two more recently. One in classic Irish form, the other made in Italy and slightly different. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to find one in the right size (they usually come large), but finding one is like finding Moby Dick, and once you've found it you better grab it before it disappears forever.

I have yet to find my perfect fit aran sweater... but one day...
