Wedding of the Year: Sean Parker and Alexandra Lenas in Big Sur

Attention all Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings fans... the wedding of your dreams is now a reality. Napster founder and first Facebook president Sean Parker and his fiance Alexandra Lenas had the wedding of the century in Big Sur, California. The towering redwoods weren't decoration enough for this couple as they spent a reported 4.2 million dollars on elaborate sets, lights, bridges, pillars and costumes (each guest was fitted for their own outfit designed by Lord of the Rings costume designer Ngila Dickson). The whole thing is pretty nerdy... but in a classy way.

The ceremony was held in front of the sites largest redwoods. Strings of pearl lights hang down creating a dreamy ambiance.

Guests enter through a corridor of redwoods and vine covered arches. The designer made the arches look like they have been there almost as long as the redwoods.

Bride and Groom. It doesn't hurt that the bride has a striking resemblance to Khaleesi of Game of Thrones.

Guests were individually fitted for their "costumes" by designer Ngila Dickson. I love the use of velvet and silk in rich neutral tones.

The happy and extremely wealthy couple.

The bride and grooms daughter Winter, held by the brides sister.

The wedding was attended by many celebrity guests.

A good Ol' fashioned pig on a stick feast.

The reception was also among the redwoods. Flowers decorated the area and so did a misty fog that just happened to be there. I like the sheepskin on the chairs. It's a nice touch.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros was the hired band for the evening. Also dressed in Lord of the Rings garb.

Dreamy! I also read that the following night some guests attended a screening of the "The Red Wedding" episode of Game of Thrones. A great way to end a magical day.

Vanity Fair got the exclusive coverage of this wedding and you can see all these photos and more at Vanity Fair.com.
